Joan Hicks is a local Ngarluma woman who has been working in the community for several decades. Completing her schooling at Roeburne Primary and then Karratha High School she began at the local Caltex before completing a hairdressing apprenticeship. Over the years she has worked as a shop assistant, cleaner, health worker and aged care worker. For the past nine years she has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Mawarnkarra Health Service.
John Sandy – Director
John Sandy, a Yindjibarndi man, has lived in Roebourne all his life. He started work as a panel beater in 1979, enjoying numerous jobs over the years including station hand, labourer and gardener.
